Reputable family law firm is growing and looking for a skilled paralegal. This is an onsite, full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
- Assist attorneys in the preparation for trial, including organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing witness lists, and drafting motions and briefs
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Manage case files and documents, including organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and hearings
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree
- Paralegal Certification, a plus
- At least 3 years of paralegal experience in the family law space
- Strong research and writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
